  • Secure everything 

When you are preparing your boat for transport, then secure everything as much as you can. Avoid any leaks and possible water damage by securing all the hatches and cabinet doors by using waterproof tape. All the cabin doors must be shut and all exterior doors and windows must be locked.

  • Voyage insurance

You must make sure that your boat shipping company offers total voyage insurance that can adequately protect your boat if anything by chance goes wrong during the shipping.
